The one and the many,

Paradox of paradoxes,

Two aspects of the same thing,

How can one be many?

How can many be one? 

        The many, 

                Diverse, 

                        Infinite manifestation,

         Seemly alone, lost in a forest of error.

                 Seemly far from the one, 

But are we alone?

        Are we lost?

                Are we far from the one?

                        The answer lies deep inside us,

As does the path of return to the one.

        Paradox of paradoxes,

                The one and the many,

Close, yet so very far away.
